Breeding farm snails of the species Helix Aspersa are sorted, washed, boiled with herbs and taken out of their shells. Then their flesh is cleaned, mixed with herbs and spices and becomes the basic ingredient of the stuffing that is put in the puff pastry. They are standardized in plastic transparent packages of 10 pieces (320 gr) and frozen in a shock - freezer.
They are maintained in the freezer in temperatures of -18ΟC, where they can be kept for over a year.
Cooking instructions.
Take the snail pies out of the transparent package. Put them on a baking pan and bake them for 20 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 200οC. You do not have to defrost them.
